Diorama Collaborations

These pieces were a collaboration between myself and the composing team of Molly Brown and Troy Conn, which premiered for the opening of the Sarah Belk Gambrell Center for the Arts and Civic Engagement at Queens University in 2019. These panoramic images were made using a specially converted camera that is sensitive to Ultraviolet, Visible, and Infrared light. This process has given me the opportunity to explore the meaning and impact of color in a new way. After creating a series of images, I shared them with Molly and Troy, who created arrangements based on the limited and intense color palettes and the imagery present. After listening to their compositions, I further manipulated these Panoramic Dioramas to incorporate my response to the music.
